Improving the Airline Industry

Dear Sirs,

I have the solution for the prevention of hijackings, while at the same time getting our airline industry back on its feet.

Since men of the Muslim religion are not allowed to look at naked women, we should replace all of our female flight attendants with strippers. Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing a naked woman, and of course, every businessman in this country would start flying again in the hope of seeing a naked woman. We would have no more hijackings and the airline industry would have record sales.

Now why didn't Bush think of this? Why do I still have to do everything myself?

Urgent Message from Governor Rick Perry

This coming November 8, Texans will go to the polls to vote on Proposition 2, the Texas Marriage Amendment -- a measure which will protect the time-honored union of marriage between a man and a woman.

Please see the message below from Gov. Rick Perry regarding the Texas Marriage Alliance and find out how you can help pass the Texas Marriage Amendment.

Dear Fellow Texan,

The Texas Marriage Alliance is a representative voice for all Texans who believe in the sanctity of marriage. We believe that traditional marriage is a special union reserved only for a man and a woman that provides a foundation for healthy families. Tragically, there are liberal court challenges to the sanctity of marriage, and political efforts are underway nationwide to recognize unions between two men or two women.

That is why we believe it’s necessary to organize and mobilize all Texans committed to the fundamental belief that marriage is only a union between a man and a woman. The Texas Marriage Alliance was formed by concerned citizens who want to help pass the Texas Marriage Amendment to the Constitution in November. I am asking you to join me in support of the Alliance.

The Marriage Alliance is non-partisan. We welcome anyone to join us who shares our commitment to passing the Texas Marriage Amendment. We applaud the Republicans and Democrats who passed HJR 6, the Marriage Amendment Bill, to allow the Marriage Amendment to be on the November, 2005 ballot. In fact, HJR 6 was passed overwhelmingly by the Texas Legislature with support by Republicans and Democrats: Rep. Warren Chisum, Sen. Todd Staples, Rep. Dora Olivo and Sen. Eddie Lucio were among the leaders to pass HJR 6. The Marriage Alliance welcomes people of all faiths to our cause. Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Evangelical and Jewish leaders have all spoken out in favor of the sanctity of marriage. Marriage finds meaning and purpose in faith -- it holds and binds us together. And we welcome religious leaders to be vocal advocates of our cause. The vast majority of people in Texas and across this nation believe that marriage is a sacred institution between one man and one woman. If you agree, please join us!

Governor Rick Perry

Conservatives Cause Global Warming and Liberal Press

Ann discusses the LIBERAL media in this article. Why do you suppose the media is SO far left? I mean this isn't really something to debate... even liberals know this is true. But why? Why do they find it necessary to MAKE UP stories in order to bash Republicans (Karl Rove ring a bell?) And why do they CREATE stories in order to undermine Republicans (Camp Casey)? And above all, why would they put this country at RISK and HOPE for the worst just to make Republicans look bad (The War in Iraq)?

Why would ANYONE support this type of behavior? I want to know the truth just as much as the next person... but these are blatant fabricated/slanted stories.

Cindy Sheehan: Commander in Grief

I like this quote: "We're sorry about Ms. Sheehan's son, but the entire nation was attacked on 9/11. This isn't about her personal loss. America has been under relentless attack from Islamic terrorists for 20 years, culminating in a devastating attack on U.S. soil on 9/11. It's not going to stop unless we fight back, annihilate Muslim fanatics, destroy their bases, eliminate their sponsors and end all their hope. A lot more mothers will be grieving if our military policy is: No one gets hurt!"

What about the family members who lost someone on 9/11?? Their loved one didn't have the choice to sign up and fight! Every lost life in this war on terrorism is heartbreaking - Cindy needs to remember what happened on 9/11 and honor her son for his part in stopping these evil terrorists!!

What Will The Libs Do Next?

With Cindy Sheehan gone, the libs are going to have to come up with something negative to put in the media!

With all the "horrible" things that Karl Rove supposedly did - I haven't heard a single peep out of a liberal lately! It is funny how mad they were... now NOTHING. Remember how pissed off Trouble was about Rove? Too bad he isn't on this blog anymore... he would have to eat crow!! Sheehan is gone now - which leaves the liberals scurrying around trying create a negative media frenzy out of nothing! I think we should all brain storm at some of the ideas that the libs might come up with!! This should be FUN!!!

Protesting Mom

Okay, has anyone read about this mom that is protesting the war in Iraq and says that she will not pay her 2004 taxes because her son died fighting over there?

Everyone who knows me, knows that I appreciate what our troops are doing over there, and 100% support them. And my heart goes out to any and all family members of the men and women who have died for this nation. I am just shocked that this mother is acting the way she is... I cannot imagine losing a son or daughter, but he died in HONOR and doing what he wanted to do.

Right now she is posted outside of the Bush ranch, claiming that "You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism," and how she isn't paying taxes for 2004 because she lost her son in the war. She says that if Bush can bring back her son then she will pay taxes. Fine don't pay taxes lady, but she isn't going to be much help sitting in a jail cell for not paying them! I think it is sad that people act in this manner instead of remembering their loved one and honoring them for what they did!

I was just wondering if anyone has finished the last Harry Potter book and wanted to discuss any of it... nothing political, just fun!

It's 'Let's Roll,' Not 'Let's Roll Over'

I totally agree with Ann in this article. She expresses how American's are in fear of another terrorist attack... in which they somewhat should fear... BUT they should more so remember that there have not been attacks on American soil for 47 months now. Even if there is an attack tomorrow - OUR LEADERS are doing their job and what it takes to keep us safe. That means the war in Iraq is working... OMG!! I would much rather fight the enemy over there in the streets of Iraq then the streets on NYC!!

Why can't some people understand this? Why don't they get it? We have to fight this war NO MATTER WHAT... either here in America or over there in Iraq. We ARE winning this war. It sucks that we have to be there at all, but we have our amazing troops who are trained and honored to be over there fighting for OUR freedom... instead of airplanes crashing through our buildings and killing thousands of innocent AMERICANS.

Texas - The New Minority Majority

So it is official (maybe it has been for some time now) that Texas has a minority majority population. This topic makes me think of affirmative action... maybe it is time that WHITES (since we are the minority now) get top priority for jobs and school placements!

What do you guys think?

Bolton's appointment

Way to go GWB!! I am SO proud of our President! He could finally get something done without the Dems trying to hold up progress (as usual) and complaining about everything!

He didn't do anything illegal - he was just tired of the Liberal stand-still. Some people do like to work and get the job done... I guess the only way to accomplish that is to sidestep the liberals!
